Graduate Research Assistant, Research Project: Excessive Body Weight and Ovarian Cancer

Mr. Ryne Holmberg is a Graduate Research Assistant assisting the Research Project: Excessive Body Weight and Ovarian Cancer at the SDSU HealthLINK Center. He is investigating the role of obesity-related factors on the NF-κB signaling pathway in ovarian cancer. The focus of the research is on differential activation of the canonical and non-canonical NF-κB pathways and their effects on TIC formation and chemo resistance.
