Carrie House, PhD

Co-Leader, Research Project: Excessive Body Weight and Ovarian Cancer

Dr. Carrie House is an Assistant Professor of Biology at SDSU. Her graduate and doctoral degrees in biology and molecular medicine have led to her research focus on improving outcomes for cancer patients. Dr. House studies molecular signaling mechanisms that support cancer cell characteristics, including drug resistance. Her career goal is to identify novel mechanisms of cancer progression and discover new strategies to prevent cancer recurrence in vulnerable populations. She also is the Co-Leader of the Research Project: Excessive Body Weight and Ovarian Cancer at the SDSU HealthLINK Center.
